This unit covers conducting haul truck operations in the resources and infrastructure industries. It includes: planning and preparing for operations; operating the haul truck; loading, hauling and dumping materials; and carrying out post-operational procedures. This unit is appropriate for those working in mobile plant operator roles, at worksites within: Civil construction, Coal mining, Extractive industries & Metalliferous mining.

Course Pre-requisites:
- A current C class (car) driver’s license. (Essential)
- You must be 18 years of age or over
- Have the necessary health and fitness to carry out the work safely
- The ability to pass a drug test

- Practical Assessment
Duration:
- 5 days [10hr days with around 40hrs driving]
Certification:
On successful completion you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment and a wallet sized plastic card stating the unit achieved.
